Song Review: “Where Do I Sign?” by Weathers

Fresh off of the announcement of their signing to Sumerian Records, alt-rock trio Weathers- composed of Cameron Boyer (lead vocals), Cameron Olsen (guitar), and Brennen Bates (bass)- have released their latest single, “Where Do I Sign?” A rocking track describing the idea of giving up a part of yourself in exchange for success or peace of mind, the single signifies the start of a new era of Weathers while still staying true to their authentic sound that fans have come to love.

Jumping right into the track, Weathers instantly grabs listeners attention with a dark, gritty bassline accompanied by simple but impactful drums . Sliding into the chorus with Boyer singing “Help me lose my mind (my mind my mind), just sing a lullaby, sleep tight goodnight”, the group picks up the energy with a punctuating drumline that expertly blends with moving guitar riffs to emphasize the edginess of this track. The group leans into the idea of selling your soul for success with the lyrics, “No more headaches, heart break, where do I sign? Please help me. I'm losing my mind. Where do I sign?”

Weathers is currently on the road supporting Set It Off on the European leg of their ‘Welcome to Elsewhere’ tour. As we reach the end of 2022, it is clear that Weathers is continuing their upward trajectory and there is certainly more to come from this dynamic trio.

Keep up with Weathers!
