Based out of Los Angeles, Weathers (consisting of Cameron Boyer, Cameron Olsen, and Brennan Bates), recently embarked on their nationwide ‘My Friends Have Better Friends’ tour, beginning with a sold-out show at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA. Joined by Ryan Seaman of I Don’t Know How But They Found Me on drums, the trio put on a show that was something to behold.
A show that kept fans on their feet from the beginning to the end, Weathers began their set with ‘Happy Pills’ (which recently went gold certified) to set the tone for the evening before swiftly moving into songs from their latest album, Pillows, and Therapy (including ‘Rehab’ and ‘Talking is Hard). Playing a handful of unreleased songs (‘One of A Kind’ and ‘All Caps’), Boyer captivated the audience by bounding around the stage with a fierce type of energy and passion. Eventually making his way into the audience to create a mosh pit, and his connection with the audience was evident throughout the whole show. Ending out the night with fan favorites ‘I’m Not Ok’, ‘Problems’, and ‘C’est La Vie’, Weathers left the audience abuzz with the electric atmosphere created.
With a thriving fan base, a third album in the works, a nationwide tour, and plans to open for Set It Off on the European leg of their ‘Welcome to Elsewhere’ tour, it’s clear that there is a lot ahead for Weathers in 2022.
Weathers is currently on their ‘My Friends Have Better Friends’ tour around the US.
