Phoenix, AZ band Troubled Minds is releasing the third single, “Buds,” from their upcoming debut album Disconnect. “Buds” is a pensive song that reflects on good times shared with friends while also confronting the pain of growing apart. Noodly riffs give way to an anthemic bridge imploring an old friend: “if you want to talk that bad, all you have to do is hit me up, I'm no one special.” The yearning for someone who’s become distant is something everyone can identify with, and the anxiety of just picking up the phone is something we all can relate to.The high-energy chorus lends itself to singing along, loudly, and preferably with a good friend or two by your side to remind you to keep them close.
