Premiere: “Effigy” by Rose Crest

Southwest Ohio rock band Rose Crest awarded us with the pleasure of premiering their latest single “Effigy.” For fans of warped tour nostalgia, this song is definitely a cornerstone of summer pop punk. This is not to say this song is a total cliche, basic pop punk track, as Rose Crest brings a lot to the table that is uniquely their own. The hooks are catchy and the overall production of the song has a vibe comparable to 2010’s indie. “Effigy” sticks out as a track that is nostalgic but not over done. Rose Crest is definitely a band to keep on your radar if you’ve been looking for that sort of thing. It’s rare to find a band that capitalizes on expectations while still bringing something new to the table, and in my personal opinion they do it really well. “Effigy” is a great choice for a new single and we can’t wait for it to be on everyone’s playlist of the summer. Be sure to follow Rose Crest on social media @RoseCrestOH and stream “Effigy” on all platforms now!
